As part of Open House Dublin 2020 we’re pleased to present a selection of virtual tours by some of our most talented architects, including this project in Rathmines by FKL Architects.
The three houses were completed in 1999, after 17 years the middle house became available to purchase. The occupants of the two other dwellings bought and sub divided the mid unit. The 50% increase in floor area presented the opportunity to ensure the sustainability of family life in house in the future. The approach adopted maintains the grain of the existing organisation, existing spaces are maintained.
