Tour Information +
A partnership between University College Dublin and the National Library of Ireland, the Museum of Literature Ireland (MoLI) is a new landmark cultural institution in the heart of Ireland’s capital city. Architects Scott Tallon Walker were engaged to transform the Aula Maxima at Newman House into a modern museum building while creating universal access across the historic site where UCD was founded.
For the Junior Open House, the tour will be aimed at a younger crowd, covering the incredible characters that lived in the house, such as Buck Whaley, and will talk about the architecture of the house. During the tour, the children can complete a fun worksheet which involves a Treasure Hunt for different objects amongst all the stuccowork and drawing their own designs.
The tour is suitable for ages 7 and up.
Pre-book only.
