Tour Information +
Dublin City Council are delighted to provide limited access to Kimainham Mill. The Mill complex which dates from 1800 has fallen into dereliction since its closure in 2000. Dublin City Council recently purchased the Mill and has now completed a programme of stabilisation works and essential repairs which included repairs to the roofs, removal of asbestos, propping of floors etc. The mill has never been publicly accessible and during Open House DCC will provide limited access to a small area of the interior and to the front courtyard for the first time. Due to its nature the tour is not fully accessible and each group will be limited in number. DCC is developing a design process for the future reuse of Kilmainham Mill for public, cultural use.
This tour is pre-book only and booking opens 14 September.
