To mark the publication of House and Home in Georgian Ireland (Four Courts Press, 2022), the Royal Society of Antiquaries of Ireland, in association with the IAF, will host a series of talks and house tours on the topic of domestic life in the long eighteenth century. The short talks will consider the house as a venue for social aggrandisement, domestic spaces created by women, the homes of the rural poor, and city lodgings and apartments.
