A new library building has been under construction in Grangegorman since January 2022. The builders are almost finished, and soon its doors will open to TU Dublin students, staff and the existing and emerging communities of Grangegorman. The Grangegorman Development Agency presents Brian Fay in conversation with Catherine Cooke, Emilio Fernández Fernández, Sheila O’Donnell and Allison Kavanagh to discuss the process of handing-over the building.

BRIAN Fay is an artist and TU Dublin Senior Lecturer in Fine Art. Brian’s work has been exhibited nationally and internationally and is in several public and private collections in Ireland. ALLISON Kavanagh is TU Dublin Head of Library Services and Senior Academic Leadership Team member. CATHERINE Cooke is the TU Dublin Campus Planning Project Lead on both the interim and permanent university library projects at Grangegorman. EMILIO Fernández Fernández is the construction leader of the Library as part of the OHLA-Townlink Joint Venture. SHEILA O’Donnell is a founding director of O’Donnell + Tuomey, lead designers of the Library.
