‘From the Barracks to the Batter’ is a guided family tour of Museums & Markets in Dublin 7 with architect Evelyn D’Arcy, based on our specially designed Architrek activity pack. Hard copies of the activity pack will be given to participants. Join us for a stroll from the Museums Quarter and through Dublin’s historic city markets to Ireland’s oldest urban village.

This tour is for families and children from 5+ years. Children must be accompanied by guardian/parent and babies in buggies are welcome. Tour is approx 45 – 60mins.

Meeting point: Collins Barracks front gate, Benburb Street, Dublin 7


Accessibility Information

This is a 45 minutes long walking tour on public pathways. Some areas might not be fully accessible for wheelchair users and people with restricted mobility.

Dress for the weather as this tour will be entirely outdoors for the duration.
