Farmleigh is an Edwardian mansion with an eighteenth-century Georgian core nested within its late nineteenth-century extensions. As the country home of the Guinness family from 1873 to 1992 and the state guest residence of Ireland from 1999, Farmleigh is abundant with history and offers an eclectic mixture of architectural styles and decorative arts.

The children’s tour is specifically tailored for ages 8-12 and highlights the engaging social histories of Farmleigh through its architectural features inside and outside the home.

All children attending will need to have a parent or guardian to accompany them.
