Dublin Castle was for several centuries the centre of the Anglo-colonial project in Ireland. One hundred years ago this year, the Castle was handed over to the Provisional Government of an independent Ireland.
From Collins to De Valera to the present day, this short tour will look at how the Castle has been preserved, adapted and used by the Irish State over the last century.
No booking required.
Each tour is limited to 30 people. Tickets will be given out on a first come, first served basis when the Castle opens each morning, at 9.45am.

Sunday 16th – 11.00
Accessibility Information
The parts of the building the tour will visit are universally accessible. However, the approach to the building, across a cobbled yard, is not wheelchair friendly.
