The corporate headquarters of the Commissioners of Irish Lights provides an iconic landmark building that integrates seamlessly into its marine environment. The complex comprises two main structures – a circular open plan office building, linked via an elegant glass enclosed bridge, to a rectilinear engineering maintenance facility. Thebuilding utilises many innovative technologies to ensure sustainable building design and energy efficiency.
Tour of admin building to include 3 floors and workshop building which will house an exhibition of our operations i.e. lighthouse and buoy fabrication and refurbishment.
Drop-in tour. No booking required.
Please note that first tour starts at 11am and last entry is at 4.30pm
Accessibility Information
Access to buildings is by staircase but there is an elevator in each building for people with limited mobility. No uneven ground, all flat. The length of the tour will be approx. 250 metres. There are two wheelchair accessible toilets.
