Meeting at the Seán Heuston Monument beside the Peoples’ Flower Gardens of the Phoenix Park. Take in an enormous pair of sculpted hands and a mid-50s shelter before boarding a bus as we head across the Liffey to Inchicore where a Scottish architect left the city one of a trio of near-identical Art Deco libraries. Next stop is a mid-20th-century school building that’s choc-full of Frank Lloyd Wright. Further up the road, transported from southwestern France is one of the country’s most bizarre structural facsimiles. This tour, led by photographer Gregory Dunn and architect Luís Pedro winds up at a hidden gem; an Emergency-era Anglican Church.
Tour at 11am.
