Get set for a truly unique experience in the beautiful and meticulously restored Stella Theatre. This fine Dublin cinematic landmark originally opened in 1923 and was designed by Dublin architectural firm Higginbotham & Stafford. It has since been sympathetically restored to reflect the glamour of the 1920’s. Discover some original Stella features such as the beautiful art deco handrail which leads you up to the first-floor balcony, mosaic tiling of the original Stella logo and original ceiling mouldings dotted throughout the building. Now housing one large screen, you can sink into one of the luxurious armchairs, big comfy sofas or one of the five large double beds as delicious food and fine cocktails are be delivered right to your seat. On the first floor, the old ballroom has been reconditioned into a stunning cocktail bar with a glass atrium and outdoor terrace.

First-come basis: Just turn up and look out for Open House Dublin volunteers. Access to the cinema will be dependant on film screenings. Stay tuned for more details.
