The Grangegorman Primary Care Centre is part new build, part refurbishment of the late 19th Century protected Laundry building (designed by W.H. Byrne), the facility accommodates the Grangegorman and Cabra East primary care teams along with a range of other health and social care network services for the North West Inner City. These include GP suites and Public Nursing, facilities for Ophthalmology and Occupational Therapy as well as a full Audiology suite, including the Bone Anchoring Hearing Aid programme and hearing aid repairs. The Health Service Executive and Grangegorman Development Agency have pioneered an arts lending scheme as part of the GDA’s ‘…the lives we live’ public art programme. The building is host to work by artists including Dorothy Smith, Martin & Hobbs, David Beattie that are inspired by daily life, spiritual themes and urban experiences.

First-come basis: Just turn up and look out for Open House Dublin volunteers. Wheelchair accessible. Photography is not allowed on this tour.
