The Criminal Courts of Justice is a landmark civic building and an iconic addition to the Dublin cityscape. Indigenous and quality materials reflect the dignity and importance of the courts and its layout ensures the privacy and comfort of all court users. Light is filtered into the courtrooms through an external bronze screen, highlighting the walnut furniture and fittings. The building provides secure and separate areas for the public, jurors, those in custody, judiciary and staff. Tours will include the Courtroom and public balcony.

First-come basis: Just turn up and look out for Open House Dublin volunteers. Please note cameras may not be brought in to the building because it is a working court building with courts taking place while visitors attend. Drinks are also forbidden. Wheelchair accessible. This tour is not suitable for children. Photography is not allowed on this tour.
