Park Terrace is one of a number of rare urban moments in the Liberties; low rise, high density, local, city centre, Dublin neighbourhood. This two-storey scheme came to be organised around a central lightwell with a private courtyard garden at 1st floor level. The lightwell extends across the full width of the house through the use of a glass roof over the corridor and stairs, and a glass floor to the 1st floor corridor, making the centre of the house the primary source of light around which all of the other rooms are organised.
