The IAF are delighted to continue our partnership with Peter McVerry Trust, the national housing and homeless charity, for Open House Dublin 2018.
As the Open House Dublin festival encourages people to engage with the architecture, planning and construction of their city, Peter McVerry Trust asks people to connect with the issues that impact on those living within its environs.
With more than 10,000 people experiencing homelessness in Ireland, Peter McVerry Trust continues to seek the delivery of a housing-led approach to ending the crisis. An essential component of a housing led solution is the reuse of buildings that lay empty or have fallen derelict. That is why the charity have led on efforts to reuse empty public and private buildings for the purposes of social and affordable housing.
