An example of a Building tour description: The tour will begin at the exterior of the building to view the two symmetrical wings occupied by Kings Inn and Registry of Deeds, the cupola, and external friezes and sculptures.

It will move to the Registry of Deeds main vault, normally closed to the public, which holds Memorials dating from 1708. The tour will then proceed up the cantilever stairs to the Public Room, with its beautiful pitch pine shelves (designed c.1829) and original parquet floors.

The tour will finish on the second floor in the Genealogical Room, and Mezzanine Room, which have lovely views of Dublin city. As well as focusing on the architectural features of the building, the tour will also explain the purpose of Registry of Deeds and historical value of the property records we hold.

This walk will bring you from one new park to another, through some of Dublin's most iconic industrial heritage, looking at new housing, leisure and commercial uses to come, as well as one of Europe's largest building projects, the new Children's Hospital.

Starting at Bridgefoot Street Park, the area's newest green space, and ending in Rialto (its closer than you think!) with the offer of a short Luas ride back into the city centre.
