Dublin House presents an ingenious, architectural answer to the desire for family homes in the city, an initiative led by Dublin City Council with GKMP Architects and Moniker. By developing large sites in small pieces, the project will follow successful examples like Georgian Dublin in developing one, two or three houses at a time. The approach represents deeply urban concerns, considering context and the existing city grain, ensuring vibrancy and diversity in the city core, and employing a consistent rhythm and material palette.
This is a future project, presented as an imaginative ‘tour’ taking place, at one of the proposed project sites.
