Bridging the Liffey

The River Liffey in Dublin City is crossed by bridges dating from the 15th century and a number of these bridges have been acquired in recent years enhancing the fabric of the city. This walking tour, led by former City Engineer Michael Philips, will focus on why, how and the particular time these structures were constructed and their effect on the daily lives of the city's inhabitants. Please wear appropriate footwear and dress for the weather.

First-come basis: Just turn up and look out for Open House Dublin volunteers.
