This late 19th century townhouse was originally a tenement building and was subsequently used as a boarding house in the early part of the 20th century. Excavation of the site during the building of the adjacent apartments revealed that the house was built on the foundations of the original medieval city wall. The house was substantially renovated in 2011 and features an upside down layout with the living spaces located at the top, for maximum light, and the sleeping spaces to the lower levels of the building.
